In short: we collect your email address so we can tell you when Ameloria opens, give you a free cheat sheet if you ask for one, and deliver any cheat sheets you buy. We don't sell your data or share it for anyone else's marketing, and you can unsubscribe or ask us to delete it at any time.

Who we are

Ameloria is run by Sophie Rose, a sole trader based in the UK. For this waitlist, we are the "controller" of your personal data, which means we decide how it's used and are responsible for looking after it.

What we collect and why

We don't ask for anything else, and we don't use the information to make automated decisions about you.

After you join, this website saves a small note in your browser (not your email address) so that if you come back, it shows "You're already on the list" instead of the signup form. It isn't used for tracking or advertising, and you can clear it by clearing your browser's site data. We don't use cookies or analytics.

Who handles your data for us

Netlify, Inc. hosts this website and stores the waitlist form submissions. Netlify is based in the United States. The transfer is covered by Netlify's Data Processing Addendum, which includes the safeguards UK law requires for international transfers.
Stripe sells cheat sheets on our behalf as the seller of record. It takes your payment, works out any tax, and gives us your name, email address and what you bought; it handles your card details itself and we never see them. For your payment details Stripe acts as a separate controller, and its own privacy notice explains how it uses them.

We don't sell your data, and we don't share it with anyone for their own marketing.

How long we keep it

We keep your details until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. If Ameloria hasn't launched within 12 months of you joining, or you haven't opened any of our emails for 12 months after launch, we'll delete them.

If you buy from us, we keep order records for six years after the end of the tax year of the sale, because the law requires it for tax.

Your rights

You can:

unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email, or by emailing us
withdraw your consent, which doesn't affect anything we did before you withdrew it
ask for a copy of the data we hold about you
ask us to correct or delete it
object to us using where you came from

Complaints

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, please contact us first so we can try to put it right. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113.

Changes to this notice

If we change how we use your data, we'll update this page and change the date at the top. If the change is significant, we'll email you before it takes effect.
